Not Sure What to Say'

We are in HOLDING mode. AGAIN...

Everything has stopped in regards to our planned Surrogacy journey for the umpteenth time in 5 years.

Right now I need to concentrate on getting our teen son well enough. We are currently looking to a new specialist in Sydney and if that fails there is a wonderful Dr in Mumbai who is a leader in his field. Just means MOVING there. He has stated he rarely takes on international patients due to the length of treatment that can be involved. Apparently people have started with him and then left, so I can see why he would be hesitant. We can get a 1 yr medical visa and then have it extended at the discretion of the Indian government if needed.

I looked into Mumbai for long term apartment rentals and Holy Hand grenades Batman, it is expensive!! I mean AUSSIE $$$ expensive. I would suppose that it becomes cheaper if you *know* people, places, areas etc. I am sure that if this is a step we take then there are enough folks out there to lend a helping hand towards a *go to* guy or gal for a place to rent.

On the plus side we solved the car crisis (just in time) and it is good to be back on the road. We are currently in Canberra with Hubby on a 2 week break. It is so nice to be able to just hug him in the evenings after work. Although  we may travel ALOT .. don't let it fool you that I actually enjoy being away from him. NOT 1 LITTLE BIT.
We are meant to celebrate his 40th birthday this May but given the financial issues and the fact that most of our friends are living in either diff states to us or countries.. we decided against doing anything special. Next year instead we are having a COMBINED BDAY holiday.

Ohh before I forget, my gorgeous and clever and amazing baby girl, Miss E, is turning 20 this weekend coming up. I cant believe how fast time has flown. I get all teary thinking about her first steps, words, smile, her first everything.. Now she is all grown up!! ( according to her she has been grown for a long while now and I really should've gotten that memo.. LOL)

I do not mention E very much on here out of respect for her privacy as an Adult, however we do talk every day if not on the phone then on FB. E is a wonderful and honest, loving and caring woman. We are blessed to have her in our lives.

So that's that, for now. Not giving up hope, just redirecting time, money and energy into the lovely family I already am blessed to have. I will be back on here from time to time and know that I am always reading your blogs and walking along side you in cyberspace on your journeys towards being parents.

Much love and hugz

S, R and co.

So sorry to hear about your son, but you are putting all your energies in the right place. I am sure with so many of us with some Mumbai connections we can help you get a great place to stay. Do keep us posted. Sending cyber hugs and prayers your way.
